Install Soaker Hoses, Landscape Edging and Mulch for Arborvitae and Crabapple Tree

Install watering system

• Use the homeowner’s hand trencher to dig a 3-inch-deep trench and bury the water supply hose line from the outdoor spigot.
• Connect the homeowner-provided pressure regulator and two soaker hoses: one hose for the front crabapple tree and one for the eight arborvitae.

Install landscape edging

• Install edging along the arborvitae bed and around the recently planted crabapple tree.

Spread mulch

• Spread mulch in the arborvitae bed and around the crabapple tree, keeping mulch clear of trunks.
