Assess transplant suitability

• Assess (1) 8' tall, 1" caliper mulberry tree growing 1' from the siding and the proposed planting location 15' north.

Transplant mulberry tree

• Carefully excavate and protect the root ball, avoiding damage to nearby siding and foundation.
• Relocate the tree 15' north, replant with the root flare at finished grade, backfill with excavated soil and water thoroughly.

Add edging and mulch

• Install contractor-provided edging and mulch around the transplanted tree, keeping mulch clear of the trunk and root flare.
