1. Post your project
Pick a trade, describe the work, answer a few trade-specific scope questions and add photos or plans. You'll see exactly what contractors will see before you publish.
2. Receive contractor bids
Local contractors ask questions, request a walkthrough if they need one, and submit sealed bids. Many simply upload the estimate they already prepared.
3. Compare and choose the best fit
Every bid is organized into the same fields — price, deposit, schedule, inclusions, exclusions, warranty. Missing information is clearly labeled 'Not provided.' We never recommend the lowest bid automatically.
Message privately
Ask for clarification or a revised estimate without sharing your phone number or email.
Schedule walkthroughs
Accept, counter or decline walkthrough requests. Share your exact address only with the contractor you invite.
Stay in control of your privacy
Contractors see your city and general area — never your full name, address or contact details until you choose to share them.
